Calling an 0845 number from your mobile introduces a cost outside of your bundled minutes. With the 0845 Wizard you can reduce the cost by utilising your bundled minutes.

Local rate numbers such as 01, 02 and 03 are included in your bundled minutes but are usually not allowed to be used with calling 08 numbers.

Well, now they can, with the 0845 Wizard.

We all know how much it costs to call an 0845 number and how much stress is involved waiting on hold or being passed round the houses at 45p per minute. It doesnt make for a pleasant phone call.

The 0845 Wizard can make every call less stressful by cutting the cost to call these 0845 numbers for an altogether more pleasant experience. We cant guarantee not being passed round the houses though.

The 0845 Wizard, like the 0844 Wizard is an app with a built in credit account (Wizard Account) that allows you to add credit via iTunes in app payments.

The Wizard Account is created In-App. You are always in control of this credit, you will always have visibility of what credit is available and topping up is easy.

The technical stuff..

Ok, youve now created an account and have enough credit to make a phone call. So, how does it work?

You dial an 0845 number. The app will tell you what it would normally cost you (an average across all major networks), it will also tell you what it will cost you in Wizard credit . You then decide youre happy to make the call, the 0845 Wizard dials a local rate number (01/02 or an 03*) which in turn (the magic part) connects you to the 0845 number you want.

If you dial an 0844 number the app will simply ask you to switch to or download the 0844 Wizard.

The cost of the local rate connection is taken from your network minutes (the call your phone appears to make) whilst the call charge for calling the 0845 number (The Wizardry bit) comes out of your Wizard Account.

The 0845 Wizard uses Barritels business-grade network to route the calls for less, saving you money to talk longer or call more often.

You can use the same login details with any of our other apps that require iTunes pre-payment. As your balance is associated with your account, not with a specific app, you are able to use it across all of our apps.

To start making calls to 0845 numbers you will need to use iTunes to add credit to the Wizard Account.

*The cost of calling 01, 02 and 03 numbers are normally included at no extra cost on most mobile phone contracts however PAYG and business users will need to check if this still applies.
